Wealth and Personal Banking has four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Premier Banking Consultant.  

Principal Responsibilities

·  Manage clients virtually with some face-to-face client interaction, primarily through the telephone and emails, managing our highest value clients where professionalism, client focus and strong understanding of the fundamentals of financial planning are critical to the success of the business
·  Be the primary contact for Premier Qualified Team Managed customers and providing banking services and wealth management where appropriate in market) within franchise
·  Identify Customer needs by making full use of franchise levels to ensure quality referrals and introductions to colleagues whilst taking ownership of the day-to-day servicing of Customer needs
·  Act as a Brand Ambassador for HSBC, delivering an exceptional customer experience through identifying and fulfilling customer needs at first point of contact
·  Provide an outstanding customer experience to HSBC clients, achieving the relevant contact standards and enhancing the client facing time for Customers
·  Maintain and grow profitable long-term relationships with client in line with the Customers channel of choice and focus on developing more meaningful customer relationships whilst improving income generation
·  Deliver a consistent and tailored wealth management service to our Premier clients by referring to Team of Experts or Premier Wealth RM/Director as appropriate in market

Requirements

·  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
·  Some proven and progressive financial services or retail sales experience or equivalent
·  Evidence of strong service experience in banking industry
·  Relationship management experience with Premier clients
·  Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
·  Understanding of business banking client segment, products and services
·  Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
·  Able to communicate well in English and local languages

To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
