The Deputy Chief Operating Office comprises a set of outcome-focused service pillars including Corporate Services, Chief Control Office, Digital Business Transformation Services, ServCo Management, Group Transactions Implementation, as well as regional oversight for Canada, Latin America and Middle East and North Africa. 

Digital Business Services (DBS) is a pivotal part of the Group with 60k+ FTE across 60+ markets. DBS consists of Technology, Operations, Data, Procurement, Corporate Services and Transformation. DBS provides essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and global functions

The Deputy Group Chief Operating Office (DCOO) comprises a set of outcome focused service pillars including Corporate Services, DBS CCO, DBS Transformation Services, ServCo Management, Group Transactions Implementation, as well as regional oversight for LATAM and MENAT

In this role you will:

·  Report to the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Group COO and will be responsible for driving strategic, operational management and workforce support across DCOO
·  Be accountable for effectively and efficiently supporting DCOO’s strategy, including target operating model, strategic initiatives, and workforce management
·  Partner with the DCOO senior leadership team and broader stakeholders to drive the performance and cultural change required of a high performing and agile organisation
·  Will create and maintain DCOO’s workforce strategy in partnership with HR and DCOO functions, aligning to future demands – including service catalogue, roles, location strategy and capabilities
·  Take part in a wide variety of activities and have the autonomy to innovate, find solutions and make strategic decisions

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·  Extensive experience within the workforce space - Experience in defining and implementing target operating models and workforce plans
·  Comprehensive Project/Programme management experience
·  Experience presenting and effectively communicating to Exec level stakeholders on complex topics, using an objective approach including a financial and analytical approach
·  Proven ability to contextualise workforce and financial information for strategic and tactical business decisions
·  Strong thought leadership, strategic thinking skills, with ability to translate business problems into practical solutions

This role is based in London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Chester, Edinburgh.
