We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as I nfrastructure Architect .

Principal responsibilities

· ​Deliver new IT services and exploit current infrastructure technologies
· Migrate apps from Distributed Systems to IaaS+ or PaaS cloud based platforms
· Drive a greater utilization of virtualization
· Migrate away from non strategic technology platforms
· Investigate new infrastructure technologies to meet the Risk business requirements
· Provide service governance of both existing and new technical nonfunctional service definitions maintained within an Infrastructure Service Catalogue
· Prepare Infrastructure Architecture Designs, approved by the Solutions Architecture Board, that is SAB
· Provide guidance to development teams with regards to solution patterns offered by our platform
· Keep up to date with business strategies and road maps, technology road maps and feeding wider business IT requirements into central infrastructure engineering and strategy teams
· Use of knowledge of the exiting business, applications and infrastructure to proactively make recommendations where it can be seen that improvements can be made
· Determine business requirement and influence solution towards Infrastructure future state model
· Gauge strategic impact to business function, impacted upstream and downstream services and subsequent technology footprint
· Ensure logical design contributes to technology objectives
· Examine potential demise opportunities and propose deployment options
· Consider service placement requirements
· Deliver end to end technical infrastructure designs, ensuring nonfunctional requirements are realized and validated
· Verify impact to adjacent services and systems, and validate deployment and support model
· Qualify technical acceptance of all components
· Review design and gain approval via Solutions Architecture Board
· Optimize commercials and approval

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  ​Solid experience in designing and developing mission critical, high performance applications and application framework
·  Experienced design Cloud Platform GCP or AWS to enable application deployments
·  Proven working experience in architecture, infrastructure and application engineering type roles
·  Set and achieve challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
·  Proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
·  Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
·  Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively
·  A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications
