·  To support GBM Central Business in managing its cost base across all of its business lines and regions via accurate and timely MI reporting along with stake holder management. The role is responsible in supporting the leads in GBM Central Management to partner with the business and engage with regional/ site counterparts for proper accounting, MI reporting and analytics. This includes ensuring the financial reporting continues to meet the needs of senior management, including global and regional heads of COO teams, offshore functional heads, and other members of COO office. The primary function of this position is to manage the production and reporting of accurate financial reports and to provide relevant & timely information to aid business decisions. Particular attention must be paid to quality of the data to ensure accuracy of the information delivered to senior leadership group.
·  Reporting takes the form of financial performance of GBM and its pillars at Group, regional, country, offshore site, and global business level. Monitoring and reporting of global KPIs including direct costs, FTE and Indirect cost including Inter-company recharges and recoveries.

Opportunity:

·  The position is responsible to review and operationalise intercompany recharge and recovery processes and ensuring that accurate and timely accounting in books of accounts is made by financial control teams.
·  The role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing governance and control covering:
·  Managing Intercompany recharge and recovery for MSS and its asset class, for Banking business along with proper governance to track the financials, bring transparency to business across regions and countries.
·  Establish controls and procedures to monitor the entries, balance sheet position and proper accounting by entity financial control team. Support in converting the financial reporting and management proposals into operational processes on an ongoing basis.
·  Operational management of the ongoing process of receiving core financial data, analyzing, and reconciling with entity/ regional financial reports.
·  Business analysis - analyzing existing processes, procedures, and workflows, working closely with the onshore and offshore teams to ensure that a consistent and sustainable process is followed.
·  Interfacing - will be responsible for all financial aspects of COO office & respective CFO teams and will support the team in the UK and other Hub locations in providing accurate financial information on a timely & regular basis.
·  Effectively communicate with various functions, Global Banking & Markets CFO teams for information gathering, query resolution and follow-ups.

What you’ll do:

·  Support Inter-company reporting process of MSS and its asset classes, for Global Banking business (including GSC recharges and recoveries) with proper governance and control for Intercompany recharge and recoveries.
·  Support in the operational activities of recharge methodology, CAMs and IGSA documents
·  Tracking / Monitoring of all the queries via existing tools from any regional or country team.
·  Assist in completion of planning and forecasting process by liaising with COO teams, if required
·  Work on relevant ledger review to support / resolve business queries and InterCo gaps.
·  Liaise with HIBS team to ensure billing happens per the recharge’s information provided.
·  Support ad hoc request from senior business management on GBM & MSS COO wide InterCo requests.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

·  Self-motivated, accountable, and able to navigate across a wide range of stakeholders.
·  Establish and maintain effective relationship with business partners to stay close to financial reporting requirements, identify areas of reporting improvement.
·  Provide insight and analysis that drives business decisions for GBM and MSS COO senior management teams.
·  Build and maintain effective relationships with key Global and Group information sources. Co-ordinate timing and monitor & control quality of information received to ensure focused and relevant reporting.
·  Provide direction and updates to respective Finance teams and play a key role in the Planning and forecasting process, if required
·  Ensure appropriate mechanisms are in place to identify reporting issues and implement effective solutions to maintain client satisfaction.

What additional skills required?

·  Looking for a CA Intern/ Industrial Trainee with strong accounting background. Should have completed CA PE II
·  Proficient in MS Office tools
·  Exposure to BI Tools (understanding and hands on working) is essential but not mandatory.
·  Ability to simplify processes using macros and using Python coding will be an added advantage
·  Interacting with multiple COO and Finance teams across the globe to establish a successful and robust way of query resolution and information exchange.
·  Management reporting must meet the complex day to day requirements using existing tools, and strong analytical and relationship management skills whilst continuing to develop policies, reporting frameworks and systems that will meet future business demands.
·  Business and customer need to be taken into consideration while proactively safeguarding and ensuring the highest standard of accuracy and compliance with Financial FIM guidelines within GBM.
·  Need to be flexible to balance risk and control. Provide solid support and constructive advice to all stakeholders.
