Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

·  Responsible for continuous monitoring of electronics manufacturing at various contract manufacturing sites ensuring acceptable quality, yield and control levels. 
·  Be a member of a global new product design team and lead Design for Manufacturability activities as part of the new product tollgate release process. 
·  Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes using Six Sigma methodologies and industry best practices. 
·  Lead capacity and cost out programs leveraging both internal technical resources and supplier manufacturing resources. 
·  Support new product development and coordinate test builds at contract manufacturing locations. 
·  Work with program manager and help with issue resolution to maintain product launch schedule. 
·  Assist in resolution of field issues. Work with Quality, Design and System engineers in determining root cause. 
·  Help with implementing containment and corrective actions when appropriate.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Greenbelt Lean Six Sigma certification
Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Technology with an understanding of electronic circuits.
·  Minimum 3 years experience with electronics manufacturing. 
·  Knowledgeable of electronics manufacturing processes and state of the art manufacturing equipment 
·  Experience with manufacturing test practices such as ICT, FT and quality practices such as Burn in and HASA. 
·  Fluent in English. 
·  Able to work in a dynamic global environment
