Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our 3D Imaging unit develops our innovative 3D sensing and material classification technology. Together with our customers, we solve problems in different markets such as consumer electronics, industrial automation and automotive.

·  In collaboration with the algorithms, hardware as well as software teams, you will define system requirements and take over the specification, documentation and execution of various tests based on these requirements.
·  You will develop and document test automation toolchains, program automated tests using Python, integrate measurement as well as analysis software and ensure the regular performance of these tests, including any that require manual intervention.
·  You will document your test results in English and support the development teams in evaluating the results as well as analyzing errors.
·  Furthermore, you have an overview of the contents of our in-house applications, manage the error database, check incoming bugs and continuously improve the error reports.
·  Ideally, you are proficient in bugfixing minor bugs based on Python and C++ code.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science or a comparable discipline and ideally knowledge in software development and electronics
·  a creatively destructive mentality: You enjoy figuring out how to break the system
·  Ability to develop comprehensive, reproducible, granular, orthogonal as well as actionable tests in Python and evaluate them in detail
·  clear documentation writing style in English as well as a conscientious working method and attention to detail
·  good teamwork and excellent communication skills in German or English
