Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) represents risk protection that is done outside of the traditional models of insurance. ART blends risk retention and risk transfer at the lowest total cost of risk and results in mutually aligning the financial interests of both the insurer and the insured.

The Role

As an entry level associate within Alternative Risk Transfer (ART), you will be responsible for providing assistance in the management of projects within the ART team.

Business Needs

· 
Significant and growing demand for ART business development related resource for the Asia region.

 
Main responsibilities:
· 
To master ART 6 pillars solutions

· 
To support to build industry leading ART solutions using a deep understanding of client needs and competitor offerings

· 
To support the development and publishing of research material and through presentations and speaking engagements

· 
To provide admin support to ART daily transaction in Asia

 
Projects:
· 
To develop ART Asia marketing brochure/booklet

· 
To participate in ART Asia Protocol development

The Requirements

·  Study Actuarial S cience , Mathematics, Statistics or numerate related fields
· 
Written and spoken fluency in English and Mandarin

· 
Strong actuarial and technical analytical skills

· 
Able to work independently as well as contribute effectively as a team player

·  Attention to detail and commitment to task
· 
Well organised, able to handle a variety of assignments and meet tight deadlines

· 
Strong computer/programming skills (i.e. spreadsheets, databases, VBA)

·  Prefer to HK local student with no VISA requirement

Can continue to work as part-time (minimum 2 days a week) beyond summer/winter break
