BI Support Developer

Job description

The IT Department of Ubisoft is currently seeking a BI Support Developer specialized in Microsoft SQL Server and Teradata Data Warehouse solutions. 
You will join the current team in Bucharest, working in collaboration with team from Montreal and Paris.
Typical examples of technologies used are SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica PowerCenter and SSIS. In this job role, the ETL Support Developer will work closely with the Reporting Application Specialists (MicroStrategy).

Your tasks

Ensure 3rd level support for Ubisoft's internal BI applications (Data Warehouse, Informatica,SSIS)
Provide technical assistance for support requests
Develop, maintain and improve ETL jobs and related data warehouse models/objects/systems 
Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business user requirements
Work closely with reporting developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse
Have good understanding of user requirements and functional specifications
Ensure that all development projects are well documented
Be aware of technical best practices

Education

Bachelor’s formation in IT

Relevant Experience
+3 years’ relevant experience in BI domain.
+3 years’ experience working with Data Warehouse solutions on:
Database engine : Teradata or SQL Server or Oracle
ETL Tools: Informatica or SSIS 

Clear understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts
Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data design and development techniques
Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
Strong communication skills

Knowledge

Knowledge of Hadoop and related technologies such as HDFS and HIVE is an advantage
Experience with data quality process implementation
Experience with reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies such as MicroStrategy or Tableau, is an asset
