Tony Pinville & Charles Ollion founded Heuritech in 2013 after they met whilst undergoing their PhD degrees in Artificial Intelligence. At Heuritech, we believe that image recognition is the future of fashion & retail industries, where billions of images are created and shared each day.

2019 will be a year of rapid scaling for our tools and infrastructure, we are looking for ambitious individuals to join us on this technical challenge !

Job Description

To scale up, beyond automating everything, we need human expertise to be integrated in the loop.

For this purpose, the Core team develop internal tools and interfaces to help us to :

·  Visualize and enrich the taxonomy of clothing and other objects that our predictive modules can recognize in images
·  Manually localize and tag objects within images to create training datasets
·  Monitor the training processes, from the selection of training datasets to the validation of the newly trained modules
·  Monitor the product pipeline, from crawling the social media to inserting the analyzed posts and images for the product to query

Your goal will be to improve these tools to fit with the ever-changing operational needs, and create new tools to make our processes even more efficient.

Preferred Experience

·  1+ yr experience in Python, familiar with PEP standards and good practices
·  Some experience in Javascript, ideally with React.js / Redux
·  Want to learn or improve your React.js / Redux skills
·  Ideally, some experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
·  Familiarity with Git and Docker
·  Curious about what’s happening in the dev community: new framework, new tools...
·  Strong team spirit, but can also work autonomously and be a source of proposal
·  Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment
·  Wants to join the startup adventure !

Recruitment Process

·  First interview (Skype call): to understand what you are looking for and see if there is a match
·  Technical test: sent to you by email, to do at home and send back to us within a week
·  Second interview (Onsite if possible): debrief on the technical test, meet your future co-workers
