Job Description

Sparkmate is growing, we need a new software engineer to join our tech squad.

We are having more and more interdisciplinary projects, with software skills including web or mobile dev in JS, ML, embedded programming in C and Python, Cloud and network engineering,... We love working on complexe and cross disciplinary projects at Sparkmate. Therefore, we need to increase our software engineering team with someone who enjoys working on back-end and serverless architecture.

What we are looking for :

·  Someone truly passionate about technology
·  Someone autonomous and resourceful (not afraid to build things from scratch)
·  Very strong skills in software engineering and a sincere will to learn new things (especially in Cloud / serverless computing)
·  Entrepreneurial spirit (a do it all kind of person)
·  Team player

We want to build an international network of interdisciplinary squads of engineers. In 2020, we focus on developing the Parisian squad, then we'll expand abroad. Out expansion strategy focuses on preserving small regional engineering hubs to power the most impactful projects in the world and build a rocking atmosphere for crazy engineers. That's why we need the best in the team ;-)

What we expect from you :

·  Contribute to (and lead asap) back-end development on our web and mobile projects
·  Build a strong expertise in Cloud / serverless computing
·  Contribute to product design and fulfil the client's expectations
·  Contribute to improving our best practices (devOps, quality, collaboration,...) and automating what should be automated
·  A good dose of energy and ambition ;-)

Preferred Experience

·  Experienced in NodeJS and database engineering
·  If possible, experienced in : TypeScript / REST API programming
·  Interest to build an expertise in Cloud / serverless computing

Recruitment Process

·  Soft Skills test
·  First call/meeting with one of our teammate
·  Technical test and Final interview in our office
