Environment

Within Société Générale Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) in Madrid, join as a VIE, the Global Markets division (MARK) and more precisely the Flow Derivatives IBERIAN team.

Candidate will join the Sales team in Madrid, in charge of covering Equity derivatives flow listed and non listed products (Options, futures, ELS etc) in the Spanish, Portuguese and Andorran regions on a cross asset basis.

Mission

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

·  Supervising client requests;
·  Analyze risk;
·  Reports about market on derivatives activity;
·  Post trade services, confirmation allocation different funds;
·  Onboarding new clients via KYC;
·  Support in pre-sale processes (risk approvals, trade documentation) and post-sale duties (booking, tracking of products, valuations, etc);
·  Answer clients questions over the phone / backing-up salespeople in their absence;
·  Create commercial documents (power point presentations, term sheets) and help in marketing events organization;
·  Maintenance of client databases and contact détails.

This experience will enable the candidate to gain :

·  Very good knowledge of derivatives flow products
·  Experience in understanding clients needs and behaviour

Overall understanding of the various functions within financial markets (sales, trading, pricing, marketing, risk, operations)

Following such experience, candidate should be easily able to build a strong career in the sales of derivative products within a leading investment bank

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Madrid is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

Your profile
Graduate from Engineering school, Business School or University with a master degree in Financial Markets.You ideally had an experience in a Trading floor from an Investment Bank. Knowledge of Exotic derivatives and Financial markets environment would be appreciated.

You are fluent in English and Spanish.

You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
