Role Headline

Performs functionally specialized logistical and administrationtasks.


Responsibilities of the Role


·       Proceeds with all day-to-dayfunctional specific operations, and applies logistical processes.

·       Analyzes and constantly optimizesthe organization´s processes to enhance performance.

·       Completes routine stock reports,in order to support decision processes in the area assigned.

·       Ensuring accurate receiving,picking, checking and dispatch of project inventory.

·       Maintaining warehouse managementcontrols daily.

·       Accepts incoming goods and compares them with theshipping document (Material number, description, quantity).

·       Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning andremoval of project material in the storage area and records them in theappropriate systems.

·       Participates in regular stock maintenance (stockcounts) and inventory control (cycle counts) in the storage area.


Qualificationsand Experience


-       Degree ordiploma in Warehouse/Logistics.

-       0 -1 years Warehousing/Inventory/Logisticsexperience will be advantageous.

-       Experiencein forklift driving (advantageous).

    

Attributes and skills


·       Stronganalytical skills, and attention to detail.

·       Familiaritywith modern warehousing practices, systems and methods

·       Goodunderstanding of software such as Microsoft word, excel, pdf and outlook.

·       Goodunderstanding of project business and related contractual knowledge

·       Ability andwillingness to challenge status quo

·       Willingnessto get directly involved with operational matters

·       Strongcommunication skills; must be able to interact with all levels of theorganization.

·       Ability toquickly adapt to new challenges in changing environment

·       Strong decision-makingskills and maintaining high levels of accuracy when under pressure

·       Ability tolift and process heavy boxes.

·       Pay attention to Detail
