Scientist Bioinformatics - (M/F)

to be responsible for design and apply bioinformatics approaches to RT PCR assay development.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

•You will support R&D team in bioinformatic post market surveillance of the current product portfolio

•You will provide statistical and computational tools for biologically based activities such as experimental design, sequence analysis, etc.

•You will Instruct others in the selection and use of bioinformatics

•You will work as a member of the research team assigned to specific development projects

•You will create and/or develop new products, or improve/ modify existing products

Your qualifications and experience:

· 
Master or PhD Degree in scientific field such as molecular biology, microbiology, bioinformatics, or a related field

· 
Familiarity with genomic analysis, primer design and related software (e.g. Geneiois, Blast, etc.)

· 
Familiarity with real time PCR techniques

· 
Experienced with designing experiments and performing data interpretation.

Your attributes and skills:

· 
You have knowledge of and hands-on experience with Design of Experiments approaches as well as advanced statistical analysis methodologies a plus.

· 
You have working experience in a regulated environment (CE/IVD) will be considered an advantage

· 
You have professional working knowledge of common software packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

· 
You have excellent written and spoken English language skills

· 
You have capacity for working independently and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
