Pre-Construction Co-Op: Summer 2020

This position is responsible for independently creating customized estimates, which provide material costs, associated labor, initial budget, and assistance in reviewing final review of project. Position is accountable for developing quotations to customers by utilizing advanced and technical expertise to prepare quotation packages for large, complex plans and specs projects. Interprets plans and specifications and develops solutions that maximize profitability and add value for the customer. Work with sales team to create custom scopes of work to meet customer requirements

What do you get to do in this position?

·Understands, analyzes, documents, and communicates contractual, technical and commercial terms and conditions relative to the company standard.

·Develop detailed scope letters and optimal system designs

· Consults with Operations, Engineering and Sales groups throughout estimation process

· Attends various meetings throughout project, including hand-off and design review

Qualifications :

· Currently pursing a degree in Engineering

· Available for a June-August 2020 Co-Op

· Interested in Controls Systems

· Interested in the construction industry
