The VIE is an international program for young professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Union nationals. In addition, the candidate cannot come from the country hosting the mission.

Main missions
Schneider Toshiba Inverters (STI) is a joint venture between Schneider Electric and Toshiba to design variable speed drives. The headquarters are based in Pacy sur Eure (France) and the Japan subsidiary is based in Nagoya, in a business area near subway station. Work place is an office.
The joint venture works with factories based in Asia and sells to Toshiba commercial entity in Japan and to all Schneider commercial subsidiaries in countries. The finance team has worldwide interactions and is part of a Line of Business Team in Industry Automation business, having peers mainly in France, Austria and China.
Mission:
1/ Take part as STI JV Finance Team member to support monthly Closing and daily business topics, gross margin analysis, External and Internal audit, transfer price updates…
2/ Prepare STI board, analysis, dashboard and support to take decisions
3/ Monitor R&D project controlling and analyze cost competitiveness of newly-launched products.
4/ Help driving quarterly forecast process for Support Function Cost, performs monthly variance analysis.
5/ Contribute to improve and optimize SAP processes
Education: Master in Finance
Technical Field: Accounting, controlling
Work experience needed: 6 months internship in finance
Requested languages (marked as bilingual, fluent, well known, basic knowledge): French and English fluent
Personal abilities or skills:
- Passion for figures, interested in Finance/Controlling and industrial business environment
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong analytical mindset and team collaboration skills
