Trainee Legal Department

About the opportunity

We are hiring a student or a recent graduate for our legal department. The mission of the internship will be to Protect assets and liabilities of Sanofi-Aventis in Spain, defending its interests against third parties and ensuring the legality of the commitments made during the development of its activities, in close collaboration with the different departments of the subsidiary, as well as the Central Legal Department in Paris.

Key responsabilities

The internship will consist in providing active support to the team of lawyers of the Spanish Legal Department, mainly on the following tasks:

·  Preparation of reports or technical assessments on specific queries of any department of the Spanish affiliate and prevention of potential conflicts with third parties;
·  Contract review: clinical trials, provision of services agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc.;
·  Draft agreements entered into between the Spanish affiliate and third parties or other companies of Sanofi Group;
·  Company law of all the Spanish legal entities: drafting of minutes and certificates of corporate bodies, powers of attorneys, preparation and registration of annual financial statements, etc.;
·  Help to guarantee regulatory compliance ensuring that personnel are aware of and take steps to comply with relevant laws and regulations related to competition law, antitrust, conflicts of interests, etc.;
·  Personal Data Protection: provide internal advice on personal data protection and guarantee compliance with strict local legislation;
·  Internal training related to Contract Management Procedure;
·  Maintenance and updating of template agreements published on the intranet.

About you

·  Currently studying Law or recent graduated with availability to do an agreement with university;
·  Fluent in English;
·  Previous experience in a legal department would be valuable.
