Job description

Purpose of Role

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for timely and accurate preparation, reporting & analysis of actual monthly financial information as well as the preparation of annual budgets, forecasting, for submission to the region & global. The role is also tasked to centrally handle the master data management of the financial systems across businesses including Vaccines, General Medicine and Emerging Markets (GEM), Consumer Healthcare (CHC) and globalized support functions (GSF) within TMS MCO.

Priorities

Master Data Management

·  Perform regular cost center review and clean-up and ensure proper communication and follow-up action.
·  Liaise with the finance business partners, region and other finance colleagues on the master data requirements adhering to global directions.

Consolidation, Reporting and Analysis

·  Support in the monthly analysis, financial reporting & variance analysis reporting ensuring timely reporting, adequate explanations and accurate data submissions to FC, CFO & regional finance.
·  Manage the TM1 core model, HFM, Marco, product forward and other reporting tool submissions to global and region ensuring that it is timely & accurate.
·  Coordinate with finance business partners, in the general review of monthly sales performance, price volume analysis, sales & margin analysis by channel, A&P spending vs budget, Gross Margin analysis (GM Tool), Cost center reporting and overall financial performance.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

·  Support in the preparation of the annual budgeting & forecasting process with the objective of ensuring timely and accurate submission of the country's financial plan.
·  Assist the finance business partners in the preparation of Business Plan/ Business Review presentations especially in providing standard financial reports (i.e. exported information from related systems)
·  Ensure coordination with the finance business partners on any centralized changes on master data and financial information resulted from management decisions.

Controlling

·  Support in providing adequate financial analysis to facilitate business to make informed business decisions. Work closely with business in understanding key reasons for variances against prior year, budget and forecast.
·  Ensure correct and accurate classification of all expenditure pertaining to the Business Units and detailed cost-controlling
·  Participate in projects as directed by line manager.

Essential Qualifications

·  3 years or more experience in a similar role in a multinational
·  Business Finance background
·  Financial analysis skills
·  Budget management
·  MS Office (excel, powerpoint), SAP
·  Presentation and facilitation skills
·  Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce, majoring in Accounting
·  CA, CPA or Member of recognized professional body
