Missions:
The Sanofi Business Services have initiated a series of global projects, which will span over several years.
The management of these projects will be mainly carried out by the Groups’ center of excellence based in Barcelona. Some other projects has been transferred from Finance to Sanosi Business Services as the Posting Chart of Accounts Project. Others in house projects as eClose (tool to manage all month-end close activities).
We need additional high potential resources to ensure the deployment of these initiatives or in the running mode support to regions/countries.
The concept of setting up a dedicated function to provide integrated end-to-end services to support Sanofi’s strategic priority of simplification emerged even before Forward to support our new product launchesis in charge to provide servies to all Global Business Units and Global Functions to overcome typical obstacles on a journey to best-in-class performance.

Last year the Posting Chart of Accounts has been rolled out and completed in all Common European Platform countries across Europe and extended to the other regions with different platforms (Wave
- North Amercia; Uniy
- Asia &JPAC). The project was leaded by Corporate finance.
Head of Consolidation and Statutory Reporting will continue to have full ownership on the global chart of account and Sanofi Business Services Global Process Ower for Accounts to Report will take the responsibility for the “regional” posting chart of account and will delegate this responsibility to Global Accounts to Report Project Lead.
Finance Corporate team will transfer his role to Global Accounts to Report Project Lead after the agreement of a mitigation plan last 30/01/2017 (2th March).
Within the SBS, A2R team is responsible for defining the appropriate governance for the Corporate Finance and ERP master data, for implementing harmonized processes and tools at global level, and for ensuring successful master data migration and readiness for core model roll out.
The job:
You get the opportunity to join a high performing department with a global role, based Barcelona.
You will support the deployment of the new Global Master Data tool, implementation,and communication to all regions about it. You will manage all the new requests from Corporate Reporting (consolidation team), request from countries (local needs due to new regulations or operations) and analyze/take decision of the actions to be taken under responsibility of the Global PCoA Manager (Anna Vilomara).
You will deal with innovative and strategic topics regarding, and work in close collaboration with international teams, including Finance, Corporate, A2R Teams in countries, and Information Systems.
In this position you will:
- Support the A2R Project Lead tin the Streamlining process + Global PCOA project launch (Change Management / Data Quality)
- Implement the data preparation strategy, including coordination and support of regional/local teams
- Contribute to testing strategy definition, participate to UATs, monitor testing progress (if it's required due to the new tool MDG).
- Ensure project monitoring, extraction KPI, and assist project leaders in the preparation of project committees presentations and minutes
Profile
- HSD+5 : Business or Engineering school with a Major in Finance or Information Systems.
- Accounting basis
- Knowledge of SAP (FI, AA, CO, K, or C)
- First project management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of operational finance processes (accounting, controlling)
- Proficient use of MS Office tools (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
- Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
- Dynamic, positive, active listener, adaptable to an international working environment
FULL PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH IS MANDATORY
GOOD PROFICIENCY IN SPANISH IS PREFERABLE
