The associate in this position will be part of the BPA Consulting work stream of the Barcelona Global BPA. The BPA Consulting work stream The associates in this work stream will have to identify customer needs, create new solutions by driving alignment discussion with the BPAs in country / region / HQ and the involved technology departments and finally implement the recommendations globally. The key responsibilities will be to drive process improvement and standardization by leveraging the available tools and collaborate with the other work streams as well as stakeholders globally to see the idea from pre-prototype to production. The associate needs to exhibit high communication skills and people agility to engage in interactions with finance leaders of the organization. The associate will need to be mobile i.e. to be able to travel to a different country when required in order to onboard or due to project needs.
The key focus of the consultant will be to deep dive into business and then identify ideas together with the Business Partnering work stream, Digital Innovation work stream and global stakeholders to build solutions and implement the same. Most of the projects will be carried out based on the four Ps listed below • Pre-Prototype For the various ideas identified, gather information necessary to assess the scalability, scope of process improvement / automation, benefit derived, etc. Make a plan of how and when these projects will be implemented and reasons to the stakeholders if the decision is to not take the idea further. Depending on the requirement of stakeholder, develop a working solution and test the same. • Prototype Once the working solution is approved, enhance further so as to be able to use the solution for all countries / regions across the globe and make a plan for pilot phase as well as implementation. Depending on the scope of the project, the Digital Innovation team could also be leveraged in order to ensure that Artificial Intelligence and Automation can be implemented in any process / sub-process. • Pilot Work with region BPA heads and identify the countries for running a pilot to get diverse feedback and different market conditions. Run the pilot smoothly and take feedback from users on strength of solution, improvement ideas, customization requirements and enhance the solution to be implemented across all countries. The Pilot is the phase where the feasibility of scale up is evaluated and understood and then if the project is feasible and supports the initial hypothesis, the findings need to be documented and presented to the steering committee for an approval for Global Rollout. • Production Upon receiving the endorsement from the steering committee, the project can be rolled out to all countries / regions globally where relevant. The BPA consulting team needs to work closely with the Hyderabad Global BPA to drive the production phase’s implementation which may include training, creating onboarding documents etc. and also needs to actively work with the global stakeholders to ensure the rollout is smooth. The BPA consulting team is also required to develop a quality assessment and feedback collection framework for the project to continuously monitor and improve.
