Software Build and Release Engineer

We are looking for a engineer to join the DevOps team for the cobas infinity project. The main aim is to advocate the automation and monitoring of the Software construction from compilation, integration, testing and deployment.

You are expected to work with a development team in collaboration with other scrum teams.

Main Responsabilities:

· 
Maintaining of software code repositories

· 
Analysis and implementation of Branching and Merging Strategies

· 
Follow industry standard applications development techniques and practices

· 
Provide work estimates for assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner

· 
Provide all necessary documentation according to the development process

· 
Collect and verify requested code-based metrics

· 
Coach and remind the development team to follow standards

· 
Development and maintenance of installers for Roche product

As a candidate you also fulfill the following requirements:

· 
Communicative and dynamic personality with an autonomous and proactive way of working.

· 
Sense of efficiency, maintainability, and desirable degree of workflow automation.

· 
Degree in Higher education in Software Engineering (or equivalent working experience).

· 
Very high awareness of quality.

· 
Object-oriented programming knowledge in Java and/or C#.
English written and spoken.

· 
Experience using SCMs such as GIT.

The following skills would be a plus

Continuous Integration orchestrators such as Jenkins Pipeline(Groovy).
Version control systems: TFS
Artifact repositories: Artifactory
Configuration Management Tools (Ansible)
Experience in Virtualization (KVM, VirtualBox, VMWare),

Experience in Container: Docker, kubernetes
Cloud Management Platforms such as Cloudforms
