The Global Infrastructure & Solutions (GIS) Portfolio Management Office oversees the broad variety of investments and activities for Roche IT infrastructure and solutions to ensure we select the right investments and execute this work well to meet the needs of Roche and the patients we serve.

You will provide portfolio management support and associated services for GIS Project Portfolio by supporting a strong alliance between Service Owners, Leadership Teams, Project Managers and other key stakeholders through collaboration, cooperation and effective communications.

Your main responsibilities are:

· 
Developing an understanding and knowledge of project portfolio management, budget governance/management, financial forecasting, and resource management

· 
Providing insight and helping mature processes for demand management, resource management, strategy management, project portfolio execution monitoring, and benefits realization.

· 
Supporting and developing decision-making reports that are simple, clear and effective for decision-making.

· 
Driving for measurable improvements and simplification of processes within GIS and Group IT to achieve a higher degree of process efficiency and data accuracy so that the reporting to Leadership Teams and Management Teams are as actionable, accurate, and timely as possible

Your Profile

You are enrolled in a Master in the area of business, economics, information management or communication, public relations or similar. At least as important as your academic background is your motivation for this role and the skills you bring as a person. You bring a passion for developing yourself and learning about strategic decision support in IT. If you're a proactive person you have the opportunity to pursue and drive for the direction you want your internship to go.

You are not only curious about IT Technologies and interested in Portfolio and Project Management, but:

· 
You pair analytic skills with creativity, you are fully committed to accomplishing the assigned tasks, you are enthusiastic about learning something new and you get started easily

· 
You have demonstrated a track record of being a good team player and enjoy working within a virtual or geographically distributed team

· 
Ability to learn tocreate clear insights from portfolio data using Google Sheets, Tableau or other tools

· 
Are fluent in English with good verbal and writing skills

· 
Innovative approach AND detail orientation
