What we do:
Global Procurement (GP) is a key function that delivers value beyond savings to Roche by using market knowledge, subject matter expertise and business insights in the procurement of goods and services and the management of Roche's third party spend.
Through collaboration with our external suppliers and internal business partners, GP helps bring innovative tests and medicines to patients.

Your day to day responsibilities are:
As a Financial Risk Management Analyst, you will be supporting Global Procurement and the Business in driving the operational management of the Supplier Financial Risk Program, including the coordination of respective risk assessments and financial risk mapping. In addition, you will facilitate financial risk mitigation in Roche's supply base to minimize the risk of disruptions and respond to incidents jeopardizing the ability of Roche's suppliers' to stay in business. You will be part of a global team of procurement professionals with presence in the U.S., UK, Switzerland, Germany and Hungary.

As a qualified expert, you are:

·  Responsible for conducting internal Financial Health Assessments on strategically important suppliers on a daily basis
·  Connecting with 3rd party credit agencies, understanding, leveraging and distributing credit report offerings via available subscriptions
·  Acting as a strategic advisor for Global Procurement and the Business to translate the identified risks to the respective business function or category
·  Proposing tailored risk mitigation activities for potential and existing suppliers, liaising with Finance teams on execution
·  Interacting with suppliers to understand risk exposure, concluding and interpreting the outcome to facilitate business decisions
·  Providing training and education on self-service offerings, keeping internal tools up-to-date
·  Supporting the adaptation of the Supplier Financial Risk Program to respond to incidents and adjust to changing business needs
·  Maintaining documentation in respective database and triggering ongoing risk monitoring

skills. As an ideal team member, you are dedicated to make a difference and open to
constant development. Furthermore, you would have:

·  University degree in Finance/International Economics or equivalent
·  3+ years Financial Risk, Sustainability & Compliance specific experience or other capability relevant experience
·  Solid understanding of financial statements
·  Comprehensive knowledge of third party risk management processes and methodologies
·  Advanced analytical skills, proven experience of working with metrics and drawing conclusions
·  Proficiency including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
·  Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior level stakeholders on a regular basis
·  Fluent English written & spoken
