Job description

How you will leave your mark:

 

Delivery of the regional merchandising strategy for Europe

 

·  Support the European merchandising and assortment planning process and assist in the buying process for all six European subsidiaries
·  Implement a consistent merchandising approach for the European wholesale business, notably external boutiques, and align wholesale buying process with targeted assortments and actual sell-in/sell-out
·  Maintain the link between Headquarters and the European markets in all merchandising-related topics and ensure a seamless communication between all parties
·  Perform analysis of the assortment by category to support the assortment plan and ensure with markets that the regional strategy is executed
·  Independently plan and execute projects in the region to leverage our business in wholesale and retail channels
·  Monitor turnover and inventory situation of external wholesale boutiques and POS in Europe

 

Support the regional merchandising team

 

·  Monitor the assortments including the stock level and model stocks for internal and external boutiques
·  Define clusters for external boutiques as well as wholesale POS and report on risks/opportunities
·  Steer product allocation in partnership with Distribution Team
·  Develop and maintain reporting tools
·  Assist in the development of merchandising guidelines, processes and training

 

How you will experience success with us:

 

·  University degree with a focus on business, merchandising or supply chain
·  Relevant professional experience of 3-5 years as a merchandiser in luxury goods, fashion or leather industry
·  Ability to connect the company’s product strategy with quantitative analysis in a business-oriented way
·  Capability to work in a detail-oriented, structured, organized and process-oriented way
·  Strong ability to communicate and work with cross-functional teams
·  Intermediate to advanced skills in data warehouse systems and planning tools as well as advanced skills in MS office, ideally including Power BI
·  Fluent in English. Other language skills are of advantage
