Job Description

PepsiCo is looking for a Electrical Reliability Engineer to join our busy manufacturing site in Coventry. Our factory in Coventry is one of the largest Snacks facilities in Europe supplying the UK and Western Europe with a number of well known brands including Doritos, Sunbites, Wotsits, Squares and French Fries. In this critical role you will be responsible for leadingthe site Electrical Asset Reliability Program. Embed Reliability into the site’s Maintenance Strategy and help deliver the medium/long term improvement agenda.

The primary focus is ensuring that the site is continuously improving the availability of plant and equipment, and ensuring that we manufacture quality products in a safe and cost effective way.

Act as the Electrical Duty Holder for the Coventry site

Assures equipment reliability to maximise production line productivity

Builds the capability of maintenance technicians
Tracks standard manufacturing measures and prioritises plant maintenance opportunities

Ensure all equipment is optimised to deliver site efficiency targets
Ensure all equipment on site has PepsiCo UK Criticality compliant; support all new projects ensuring 100% Criticality compliance.

Work closely with Engineering Planners and service teams to deliver against targets.

Integrate RCM protocols to professionally and systematically define, design, monitor and refine Asset Maintenance Plans

Key stakeholder in delivering PEMM results for the Engineering Support Department

Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance Management and specialist functions. Promote a culture of CI aligned to the PepsiCo brand values.
Provide day to day support for electrical projects on site.

Qualifications/Requirements

•Trackrecord in leading engineering projects / issues

•HND / Degree Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

•Experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment

•People management experience or direct supervision

•Green belt six-sigma / RCA / analytical problem solving skills or equivalent

•Significant RCM / FMEA knowledge or formal qualification

•Excellent organisational skills – ability to handle multiple work streams

•Project management and planning skills

•Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, CMMS, Project)

•Significant CMMS experience, report writing, data interpretation

•Action orientated with the ability to drive accountability within the team to achieve challenging goals

•Track record in coaching and strong influencing skills to achieve commitment to Reliability agenda

•Decision making and communication abilities, demonstrated at all levels

•Strong facilitation skills
