Job Description

Purpose of the role:

As a Data Analyst at PepsiCo you will be in charge of all EDW and Analytics capabilities by delivering solutions and contributing to very critical international sector projects. You will perform data analysis of business data requirements, translate data designs into data implementation and deliver reporting and visualization solutions. This role will let you collaborate with vendors, business partners and team members so as to execute BI technical solutions that would be performant, escalable with best in class user experience. You will report directly to Manager of the Europe Data and Analytics Delivery function.

Main accountabilities:
·  Provide input into setting data modeling and design principles, standards and best practices
·  Develop data model and design plan that maximizes usability and reduces redundancy
·  Translate functional design into technical specifications
·  Provide comprehensive analysis using a variety of enterprise-wide applications (e.g., querying, scorecards, drill-through and drill-down capabilities)
·  Build and test solutions
·  Review data designs in order to share best practices with the data modeling and design team
·  Remain up-to-date on the latest reporting, visualizations and OLAP capabilities in order to apply the new learnings to technical solutions
·  Collaborate with with business partners on specific reporting/visualization requirements
·  Work on preparing estimates for the project and help controlling the budget

Qualifications/Requirements

·  At least 3 years of related Information Technology and business work experience (including data modelling and visualization skills)
·  Previous experience with Teradata/other data warehouse applications
·  Experience with Alteryx or Knime would be a big asset
·  Experience with Azure and advanced analytics would be advantegous
·  Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
·  Excellent problem solving skills
·  Bachelor’s degree required
