Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

We're the team that helps ensure your favorite gadget is always in stock when you go to buy it. Our solutions help to advance supply-chain collaboration and streamline internal and external business processes and transactions. We think out of the box and spend a lot of time brainstorming. The greatest and simplest solutions come from the group effort .

Oracle+NetSuite is looking for a talented developer to extend the ERP – Procure to Pay team in our engineering center in Barcelona. A developer who has a strong drive for excellent software design and clean code principles. A developer who takes pride in their work and has a desire to delight customers. Someone who takes initiative , takes responsibility and takes ownership of their projects. This new person will strengthen our ability to deliver even more complex procure-to-pay business features.

What we'll expect from you and help you achieve in your next role

·  Implement solutions that include database schema, business logic as well as some presentation layer work.
·  Use best practices to create features with the highest levels of reliability, efficiency, scalability, and security.
·  Work closely with other development teams, product management and QA to define and implement a new product offering while ensuring the continued functionality of the existing ERP system.
·  Develop tests to ensure quality.

Your qualifications & skills

·  B.S. or Master's in computer engineering or equivalent
·  2+ years' software development experience
·  2+ years' SQL database experience
·  2+ years' experience with Java (C# or similar)
·  Excellent communication skills in English
