The Digital Services Unit has the mission to provide Nestlé with the best in class Digital platforms and Capabilities to win in Digital Marketing and eCommerce, creating and running end-to-end Digitial Services and Solutions, touching billions of consumers everywhere in the world.

The strategic focus spans across key areas such as Digital presence on web and mobile, eCommerce and Omni-channel, Social media listening, enaging and publishing, Personalized Consumer Experiences and advanced cRM , Digital Consumer Analytics, Programmatic media, including upcoming areas such as IoT, connected products and services.

To complete the DSU Core Team, we are currently looking for an eCommerce Magento Technical Expert.

As a Magento eCommerce Technical expert, you will own the technical development of our Magento-based solutions. You will design and develop award winning web applications and mobile solutions for global brands. You will work with project managers, graphic designers, Magento developers, QA professionals and client teams to deliver the very best in ecommerce.

You will act as the Single Point of Contact for all internal stakeholders (Solution lead, Solution Manager, Digital Service Delivery) and all external stakeholders (development agency, service providers, hosting services). In addition, you will be responsible keeping the solution compliant with all relevant Nestlé Standards (e.g. Security, User Management, Hosting). You will also ensure good performance and quality of the solution to ensure pleasant user experience for our consumers.

- Coordinating the integration of Magento solutions in the existing Digital landscape.
- Providing expertise and consulting to Magento team about automation scripts, solution integration, interfaces and data flows and technologies.
- Reviewing solution architecture documents at high quality standards.
- Provide support and guidance to support team.
- Ensure Magento development processes and automation scripting are maintained and documented.
- Identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage issues with Magento development agency and/or Digital Infrastructure support team and hosting providers.
- Closely work with Magento ECG to mitigate technical/integration issues and augment quality and sustainability of the code.
- Closely work with respective PMs to ensure ontime and on scope deliveries.

What is key to success in this role ?

- Magento 1.X and Magento 2.X strong experience (in Omni-Channel context).
- Magento Developer or Architect with strong PHP, Zend, and object-oriented programming experience.
- Extensive experience developing websites, back-end integration.
- Extensive experience with PHP 4/5, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, MySQL and familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and other JS frameworks.
- Strong hand-on experience with Magento.
- Experience with Zend Framework.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Linux and MS-SQL and/or MySQL.
- Good understanding of Web Analytics and SEO techniques.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming / Object Oriented Design (OOP/OOD).

- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent; MS CS or Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years developing web applications using the LAMP stack.
- 2+ years deploying sophisticated Magento 1.x web applications (knowledge of 2.x a plus).
- Experience extending or customizing Magento Enterprise ( experience with other frameworks such as Drupal, Demandware, Hybris and/or OS Commerce is a plus).
- Demonstrated experience in leading development teams.
- Success in leading hybrid on- and off-shore teams.
- Responsive web development techniques.
- Exceptional problem solving.
- Exceptional, client-facing communication skills, including telephone and in-person presentations.
- Ability to adapt and pick up new techologies.
- Consulting background is a plus.

Automation.
- Ability to clearly document and maintain a library of script.
- Proven experience with PowerShell.

Product Owner
- Ability to take the full ownership of a product (technical, functional).
- Ability to liaise with technical people and to businesses.
- Experience in project coordination (daily activities, planning, ...).
- Experience in Issue and bug management, change Management.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
