POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform market/account analysis including market potential, Medtronic and competitive position,
growth rates and others
In conjunction with LatAm/SBU marketing, develop and implement marketing/sales plans for product line, including customer/account segmentation and targeting, measureable marketing objectives and initiatives that will drive business
Clinically sell complete product portfolio
In conjunction with LatAm marketing and Training , develop and implement product/portfolio training programs to customers
Develop, implement and maintain product/portfolio forecast and supply process, including submission of monthly forecast reports, attending S&OP calls, resolving product supply issues with LatAm and SBU global supply leads
Manage the budgetary expenses adhering to AOP directives.
Responsible for fostering, maintaining and improve business relations with institutions and KOL’s
Promote Service Solution for the designated Therapy for all direct and indirect channels.
Market Intelligence
Implement established marketing analysis and identify potential unexplored markets
Collect market information from competitors and report it in an organized manner
Responsible for collecting marketing intelligence data involving:
Markets size and growth opportunities
Companies and competitors Market Share
Measure the number of competitors and their market access
Map and target client according to sales opportunities.
Sales Management
Be aware of the market and competitors market share and report it to management
Detect bidding opportunities and define participation strategy and the prices.
Managing the performance of price per client versus criteria pre-defined in relation to the National Price List.
Responsible for controlling the monthly consignment material, avoiding disposal of products.
Present sales tracking analysis during S&OP meetings along with Logistics Sector to improve accuracy in the forecast needs
Participate in scientific discussions aiming to refresh product/martket knowledge and acquire a different knowledge standard to be shared with clients
Lead, influence and work with direct and indirect sales teams to develop and implement growth sales strategies and initiatives
Product Management
Visit clients on a regular basis, reinforcing Medtronic’s strategic positioning and build new market opportunities
Be an expert in our product line, performing clinical selling
Implement and execute (together with Regional Mktg Manager) an annual marketing plan for the product line.
Monitor profitability in line with budgetary expectations through sales control, product mix, price positioning, product consignment, investments and expenses analysis.
Participate in events and campaigns to promote brand and product positioning within targeted market.
Monitor results through indicators. Ensure that updated analysis is available as required.
Identify market research and/or product development opportunities and communicate throughout corporation. Follow up on possible strategy development in line with results.
Maintains product descriptions accuracy for commercial and bidding purposes
Travel requirements: 30-50 %
