JOB DESCRIPTION :

OVER ALL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Manages Front Desk, lobby and AYS. Coordinates owner & rental reservations process. Gives personalized service to resort guests. Takes responsibility as manager on duty and promotes a high degree of job efficiency from those within the scope of authority so as to maximize guest satisfaction, income and profit.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

·  Assists and shares responsibilities with Front Office Manager in achieving guest satisfaction objectives.
·  Responsible for timely recruitment, employment, training, management and appraisal of all front office and reservation associates.
·  Motivates and provides a working environment in which associates are productive.
·  Continually supervising hospitality skills of the Front desk team and provide training needs to their development in the Company.
·  Responsible for ensuring safe work practices and conditions within the department.
·  Maintain high level of hospitality driving Guest satisfaction with strong problem resolution skills.
·  Continually strive for new thoughts & ideas to improve the Front Desk, updating procedures and implementing on a timely basis.
·  Communicate all new policies and procedures to all employees and maintain continued follow-up.
·  At all times strives to represent Marriott in the most professional, courteous and efficient manner possible.
·  Responsible for proper tracking of working hours to achieve full coverage of reception with minimum overtime paid. All holidays taken at suitable times.
·  Supervise the night auditors functions and improve current procedures for a better efficiency of the team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

·  Practical experience in Front Office.
·  Minimum 2 years experience in an assistant managerial position
·  German native
·  Fluent in English. Good command of spoken Spanish.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

·  To perform all reasonable tasks as required by Resort Operations Management and business demands.

OTHER :

·  Be punctual and wear the name tag at all times during working hours.
·  Perform all tasks in a timely manner ensuring all deadlines are met.
·  Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
·  Comply with MVCI and Marriott International polices and procedures.
·  Be proactive and have a flexible approach to work, meeting the needs of the team and the business at all times.
·  Outgoing manager able to maintain an attitude and commitment to provide excellent service to all customers and associates. Respond sensitively to the needs and feelings of others, regardless of status or position; accept interpersonal differences and maintain a constructive rapport with all associates and customers.
·  Maintain a working knowledge of all Marriott product lines.
·  Maintain computer systems knowledge (MS Office, e-mail etc)
·  Work with all MVCI colleagues as a team, supporting the needs within that team and those of the business at all times.

job requirements :

·  Native German Speaker. Fluent English and good level of Spanish.
·  Practical experience in Front Office.
·  Minimum 2 years experience in an assistant managerial position
