Qualifications :

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for the processing, recording, and dispensing of payments for all hotel liabilities incurred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Match all invoices with purchases orders, receiving documents, packing slips, etc., ensuring that all bills represent authorized, legitimate purchases.
•Properly code and record expenses to the correct cost center/general ledger account and obtain appropriate department head approvals.
•Process payment for due invoices
•Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with policies and procedures.
•Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
•Work closely with Purchasing & receiving and all Departments Heads.
•Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
•Support team to reach common goals.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English and Spanish
•Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Must be able to use excel.

QUALIFICATION STANDARS
Tourism/ Administration Degree or
Superior Grade Formative Course of Administration
Previous accounting experience will be a plus
