As Marks and Spencer enters a large change programme, we are looking for a Data Architect to work with our HR team.

You will get the opportunity to work with key teams across M & S, including Technology, Product and Change, to ensure the smooth migration of our people data whilst achieving an excellent colleague experience.

With exceptional communication skills, you will manage key stakeholders and dependencies to establish new ways of working, identifying and managing projects risks and issues.

You will be responsible for ;

·  Track project benefits after go-live against the original business case and critical success factors
·  Capture lessons learned in conjunction with team members and other key stakeholders, ensuring these are taken into account for future programme phases
·  Establish data sources and business rules for all M & S functions and work with subject matter experts to ensure smooth data migration processes
·  Collaborate with technology and enterprise architecture teams to achieve data integrity during migration
·  Collaborate with Change Team to ensure a colleague focussed migration of data that will make sense to each area of the business
·  Collaborate with Product teams to ensure an excellent colleague experience and that product solutions inspire confidence in data accuracy
·  Develop migration processes that are fit for each area of the business and in line with the global deployment plan
·  Use intuition and insight to identify potential HR and payroll errors based on knowledge of current processes and user errors
·  Maintain an ongoing data relationship with the relevant experts for each function across the business, understanding data requirements for system functionality
·  Play a key role in supporting our team's ambition for the People function to turn data into insight and action, by interpreting data to recommend actions, and by coming up with insightful ways to present information to drive better decisions
·  Advise the wider teams on system and solution improvements for colleague data

The Data Architect will possess excellent communication skills to develop colleague engagement methods on data cleansing and migration that are fit for each area of the business.

This role will best suit an individual who is detail oriented, well organised & a logical thinker with an inquisitive mind. You will ideally have a working knowledge of HR and payroll systems, policies and processes with an advanced knowledge of Excel.
