Server Management Technician

We're looking for a Server Management Technician to join our great team!

Your Role

As a Server Management Technician in the server management team your daily tasks would be to administer various application servers running the Windows Server operating system, work on automation through scripting, monitor performance, solve incidents and carry out additional infrastructure service maintenance related tasks.

Your Responsibilities

·  Working as part of the Infrastructure Services team to provide high level support for identified business problems
·  Administration and maintenance of central infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange etc.
·  Design, implement and maintain new central infrastructure services
·  Continuous improvement of services
·  Manage life-cycle of applications and services in the organization
·  Working on security best practices, such as OS hardening and patching

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
·  Structured and precise working approach based on specified processes
·  Strong analytical skills and problem solving
·  Substantial knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
·  Very good understanding of various infrastructure components (load balancing, network zones, hardware, certificates, APIs, etc.)
·  Knowledge of scripting language PowerShell
·  Ability to problem-solve, prioritizes tasks, work on multiple tasks at the same time; adjust tasks schedules to meet critical/changeable deadlines
·  Motivated to adopt new techniques
·  Team-oriented working style and good communication skills
·  Proficiency in spoken and written English

Advantageous skills: 

·  Microsoft Certifications
·  VMware Workspace ONE (AirWatch) experience
·  Microsoft SQL Server administration experience
·  Basic knowledge of project-oriented activities in JIRA
·  A postgraduate degree in IT
·  ITIL certification
