Seafreight Reefer Pharma Import Coordinator

Kuehne + Nagel are looking for an experienced professional to join a high-functioning Sea Import Team for their pharma vertical.

Your Role

The Seafreight Reefer Import Coordinator will primarily process all documents for reefer shipments in compliance with US Customs regulations, as well as provide valuable customer service to assure smooth transactions and retention.

Your Responsibilities

- Processing all documents for reefer shipments in compliance with USCBP and Import regulations.  
- Handling shpts from the time we receive a pre-advise from KN origin station, making payments to carriers and vendors, working with internal or external brokers and arranging last mile delivery and POD.  
- Monitoring of shipments, creating reports and quotes.
- Direct communication with customers, overseas offices, steamship lines and truckers. Create Pharma GXP/GDP SOP's.
- Excellent pro-active customer service support and great communication skills are key factors to success in this fast paced position.   
- Obtaining and maintaining a high level of data quality and meeting monthly financial targets are expected.

Your Skills and Experiences

- 2-3 years experience in sea freight forwarding industry
- Goal oriented/determined
- High-level of organization
