Batch Controller - Superuser

Job description

We are looking for a Batch Controller within the Admin team as these are the focal touch points between Nespresso Customer service teams.

Your Role

The role itself controls the order flow into the operation through accessing the customer system and our own WMS. Further to this the role is classed as a system super user position which is pivotal to trouble shooting and general systems support within the operation, ensuring that all P1 issues are raised and supporting our current BCP for order failure. We are the contract logistics partner of choice for logistics outsourcing and the management of complex supply chains. Your Responsibilities

·  Allocating orders for each work area based on standard schedule or current demand, allocating Inbound Delivery Bookings within the WMS
·  Developing and maintaining process documentation
·  Completion of all User Acceptance Testing for the implementation and on-going development of the Ciel-FW WMS
·  Monitoring activity and volumes between internal and external systems, ensure issue logging process is adhered to through to issue resolution
·  Development and ongoing ownership of operational spreadsheets / reports as required to ensure the integrity of KPI data
·  Provide support and information for regular customer and supplier reviews
·  Provide technical support, advice and coaching to operatives and Team Leaders as required
·  To ensure that MHE is being used in accordance with training and Health and Safety legislation and to comply with all Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety requirements in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 regulations.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
·  Detailed knowledge of Ciel-FW system (preferable)
·  Good knowledge of creating and interrogating spreadsheets along with the ability of interpreting data
·  Experience of working within an FMCG and parcel environment
·  Managing costs against a budget
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills – at all levels
·  Customer orientated and effective problem solver
·  Good attention to detail and a methodical thinker
