Job Description

Job Title         :           Retail Coordinator (fixed term)

Reports To     :           Retail Manager

Division          :           Balenciaga Korea

Location         :           Korea

SUMMARY:  The Retail Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all internal Retail inquiries and will play a key role in ensuring effective and regular communication between the Head Office and the Retail teams. The Retail Coordinator will provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Retail team as well as assist with Retail financial and inventory management. The role will contribute to administrative efficiencies within the Retail team as well as the implementation of new processes as required. The Retail Coordinator will continually assess, analyze and improve all operational aspects of Retail. As a key liaison between Head Office and Retail, this role will demonstrate a commitment to excellence, communication and Balenciaga’s culture

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Management

·             Organize and code the expense invoices for Balenciaga Retail

·             Guide and coach Store Managers to review and analyze monthly P&L statements to identify and implement strategies to manage controllable expenses and drive profitability

·             Review and approve rosters for each door, ensuring forecasted wage budgets are not exceeded

Inventory Management

·             Coordinate the quarterly Balenciaga Retail Stocktake

·             Ensure all Order Calculators are submitted on time from stores and approve

Administration

·             Ensure all administrative and RetailPro tasks are completed accurately and correctly within the specified/required timeframes

·             Be responsible for Balenciaga operational and loss and prevention manuals

·             Troubleshoot and support problems with all POS and IT systems and communicate IT issues to relevant people in a timely and effective manner

·             Ensure that all timesheets within Deputy have been approved within the timeframe

·             Provide weekly and reporting on relevant KPIs, inventory needs, etc.

·             Onboarding and exiting relevant employees from appropriate systems (RetailPro, Deputy)

Communication

·             Maintain effective and regular communication with the retail teams and colleagues and support office team on all key store issues

·             Ensure vigilance with weekly reporting and illustrate its importance for inter-company communication and business improvement

·             Ensure all communications are read, shared and actioned in a timely manner by the relevant retail teams

Continuous Improvement

·             Provide continuous analysis on retail performance as well as current processes and systems and their performance

·             Collaborate with the relevant parties to implement and spearhead any process improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

·             Minimum 2 years retail store management experience

·             Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred in one or more of the following degrees: Marketing, Business, Commerce, etc.

·             Experience in retail operations including scheduling, inventory, policies and processes

·             Experience in retail systems and tools a plus - RetailPro, Deputy, and/or any POS systems

·             Ability to proactively present and escalate ideas, suggestions and problems

·             Hands-on, practical problem solving and ability to complete tasks within set timeframes

·             Strong written and verbal communication skills
