JLL is looking for qualified interns to join our Public Institutions Group in Chicago, Illinois.

About Public Institutions: JLL’s Public Institutions group identifies and implements strategies that allow public sector organizations to fully leverage their real property in close alignment with their organizational missions.  Our central local markets practice has grown rapidly over the past decade and is an industry leader in providing complex development advisory services to public agencies and higher education, with a specialty in public private partnerships. 

What this job involves?

·  Work directly with clients on tasks in support of the team
·  Execute accurate and well-organized deliverables on schedule
·  Support the team with special projects

General Qualifications:

·  Current undergraduate students with a related major or an emphasis in Facilities Management (Commercial/Retail), Construction, Architecture, Engineering or Finance preferred and a desire to work in the Real Estate industry.
·  Rising juniors, seniors and 2019 grads highly preferred.
·  Highly energetic individual with ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
·  Must be outgoing and have the ability to connect with individuals on the phone.
·  Have written and verbal communicative skills.
·  Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and creative.
·  Proven record of providing excellent customer service.
·  Ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
·  Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key stakeholders.
·  Strong financial and analytical skills.
·  General business experience.

Skilled and Knowledgeable

·  Proficient in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programs
·  Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment
·  Excellent interpersonal and strong organizational skills
·  Excellent business writing and verbal communications
·  Strong analytical ability and detail oriented
