JLL’s high-performing Canberra sustainability team has a proven track record of delivering environmental performance improvements and cost savings for our clients.

What this job involves

As a Sustainability professional, you will provide detailed analysis, reports and recommendations to help our government clients reduce their environmental footprint. Some of your responsibilities include:

·  Monitor and report on sustainability and environmental performance, including annual sustainability reporting data, such as the Energy Efficiency in Government Operations (EEGO) policy.
·  Accurate and timely provision of energy, waste and water consumption data.
·  Providing recommendations for energy, water and waste saving initiatives and preparing their business cases.
·  Management of Green Lease Schedule requirements
·  Close collaboration with our clients and internal and external stakeholders to help our clients achieve their building sustainability ambitions.

You have recognised tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Building Services, Sustainability or related field.

The successful candidate will also have a mix of these skills and experiences:

·  Industry experience with sustainability in the Government or Property sector highly desirable. 
·  Experience in data management, analysis and reporting.
·  Confidence engaging with stakeholders to understand their environmental requirements
·  NABERS or CBD assessor accreditation advantageous

A flexible, service oriented personality and a passion for sustainability and environmental improvement is essential.

Although this role will report into the Canberra sustainability team, applications from candidates who are based interstate are also welcome.
