Job Description

To cope with our rapid expansion, we are looking for a buyer for the Kidswear department.

In the Fashion Buying Department of Zara Kidswear, you will be in permanent contact with fashion market trends and working closely with the Design Team to lead and supervise the whole collection development process: from concept up to distribution in our stores, making sure the product reaches optimum quality levels.

·  Management of Buying Budget.

·  Development of collection and product selection in collaboration with the Design team.

·  Sales analysis and commercial needs.

·  Analysis and trend proposal.

·  Decision and planning of quantities to buy and production areas (Europe, Asia, Africa,…)

·  Sourcing of new suppliers and production markets.

·  Negotiation of prices, margins, delivery dates of merchandise with different suppliers.

·  Follow up on production until arrival at Disctribution Centers

·  Decision on product delivery dates in shops: quantities and delivery dates.

·  You will work with the Design and Quality Control teams.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for people who are well versed in the Fashion Market, flexible, creative, team-orientated and with strong communication and negotiation skills.

·  University degree

·  1/2 year experience in similar position.

·  Experience dealing and negotiating with suppliers.

·  Knowledge of denim fabrics, qualities, cost and production process.

·  Ms Office user.

·  Available to travel and work full time.

·  Fluent spoken and written English.

·  Spanish will be valuable

·  Available to live in La Coruña, Spain.
