B2C Logistics Developer

Category Service Business (CSB) within Distribution Services (DS) organization, is responsible to develop, purchase, operate and follow up the core services execution (delivery, assembly, installation) at customer home, through external service providers. The category is responsible to secure service execution at the right time, with the right quality and for the right cost, to achieve the goal of creating only satisfied customers. As last mile service execution is a crucial part of customer fulfilment chain, CSB is deeply involved in Multi-channel strategy and ecommerce implementation.
Your assignment
As B2C Logistics Developer you will execute daily operations within geographical scope to reach agreed targets.Furthermore, you will be responsible to establish and optimize an efficient logistic set-up, plan, secure and follow up service execution in collaboration with service providers under your responsibility.Negotiations and update of contracts of service providers will be a natural part of business as well as execute and follow up agreed/signed contracts and monitor compliance of working methods.

We are looking for aB2C Logistics Developerwho has a strong interest for quality and Customer satisfaction. Knowledge, understanding and experience of the physical movements in home deliveries and services in a B to C environment would be appreciated. You have an extensive knowledge of legislation/regulation governing the transport and service industry as well as experience from contract management and sustainable development of service providers. You have a strong interest in ecommerce and innovative logistic setups.
You are fluent in local language, in English and you preferably know one additional language from the south European cluster (French or Italian).
You see development of services providers as a natural part of your daily work. You are customer, result and goal oriented as well as self-driven, able to take initiative and work proactive to resolve problem. You have the ability to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks simultaneously in a change environment. For you, team work and clear communication with internal and external speaking partners is a natural part of daily business. You keep your energy in a constantly change environment and you share our company values.
The location of this assignment will be in Madrid or Barcelona, Spain. You will travel in Spain, to Portugal and/or other countries to contribute to IKEA growths through Service Business. As member of the Category Service Business Operations team you will report to the Market Operations Manager.
