Your day to day

We are recruiting for a Business Analyst at IHG. You will have direct responsibilities for analysing functional requirements to support the delivery of the Global Finance BI & EPM strategic road map.

You will be responsible for managing the functional activities associated with delivering assigned projects and system enhancements to support the Global Finance BI & EPM strategy.

Key responsibilities & activities will include: 

·  Gather, review and analyse business requirements and document functional data specifications for assigned EPM related finance & non Finance data projects
·  Collaborate with GT peers and assist with system planning, design, development and deployment activities for assigned projects
·  Develop System, Regressions & User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans, co-ordinate testing activities and assist with issue resolution for assigned projects
·  Develop and execute release management plans including systems documentation, training activities and communications to end-users for assigned projects
What we need from you

The successful candidate will have:  

·  Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with Oracle BI & EPM reporting tools
·  Experience with complex projects and process improvement initiatives with strong results delivery
·  Ability to understand business problems and requirements in relation to current as well as future business environments
·  Analytical and conceptual skills in developing efficient and effective complex business intelligence solutions
·  Effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining information to business partners, key stakeholders, and Global Technology teams
·  Experience working with cross-functional teams in multiple locations, driving system or cultural change, and challenging & communicating with business stakeholders
·  Good understanding of IHG’s global systems both Finance & non Finance
