Holiday Inn Cairns Harbourside is looking for a dynamic and passionate Bar Attendant to join our team!

Our newly refurbished bar and restaurant offers menus that reflect a “paddock to plate” and “vineyard to glass” food and wine ethos and a love of great Queensland produce.  

Your day to day

After a big meeting far away from home, or a long wait for a delayed flight, is there anyone more welcoming than a smiling Bar Attendant? As the friendly face of our hotel bars, you’ll also be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Whether you’re preparing drinks exactly as our guests want or serving them delicious food, you’ll be devoted to creating relaxing, memorable experiences.

What we need from you

·  High Energy, Positive attitude and outgoing personality
·  Be a team player, working closely with others to create a friendly, inviting atmosphere for our customers
·  Strong work ethic and a love for craft beer, wine, cocktails and good food
·  Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance and cash handling procedures
·  Valid RSA certificate
·  Previous experience in similar environment highly regarded 
·  Available to work various shifts, weekends, public holidays and late nights
