Visual Designer (UI Designer) (m/f/x)
Internship GERMANY
Job description
We are seeking full-time visual designers (UI designers (f/m/x)) who want to shape great user experiences for industry-defining software products, cloud services and web applications as part of a product design team in the IBM Studios Böblingen(Germany).
What you will do
As a part of a multi-disciplined product design team, you will articulate and envision the future of IBM's portfolio of software products.
As visual designer, you will specialize in organising information visually to engage audiences emotionally and communicate effectively. Your work will provide end-users with an instant emotional connection to a product even before they start using it. You will demonstrate exhibited skills in visual design principles including typography, layout, imagery, colour, etc. A sound understanding of 'neighbouring' disciplines like user research and UX design is expected. You will build trustful relationships to our front-end developers and regularly hand-over your screens, graphical assets, and specifications to them.
What you can expect
Our position offers an excellent opportunity to evolve IBM's UI design practices. You have the opportunity to develop your own design skills within a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, and business professionals focused on the next generation of software. You will gain real-life experience with a corporate position that will not only impact IBM's bottom line but also influence the future of software.
If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
