The IBM Global Advanced Analytics Center of Competence is the tip-of-the-spear of IBM's consulting organization when it comes to production-ready machine learning. As a member of our team, you will get to work hands-on with our clients, utilizing the latest and greatest technologies to build highly scalable machine learning solutions, both on the cloud and on-premise.

This position is for technical experts who are able to rapidly prototype new concepts, develop ML and AI solutions and assets, and lead delivery efforts for our globally dispersed clients. Thepositionwillinvolveworking closely with our data scientists in order to define, develop, and deploy end-to-end deep learning/machine learning solutions that drive lasting business value. Additionally, as a member of the Global CoC, candidates are expected to stay current on the latest technological development regarding machine learning at scale and be a leading voice in the worldwide practice to drive innovation across all of our projects.

This team is distributed across the European continent. Candidates must be self-starting, and willing to perform global travel, as we work with clients and IBM teams around the world (with a focus on Europe).

Key Responsibilities
·  Design, build, and leverage complex data engineering pipelines to address difficult, non-routine analysis problems on complex data sets
·  Take ownership of the design and engineering of AI-powered systems
·  Write and test efficient code to build, deploy, and monitor Data Science pipelines
·  Apply advanced analytical methods as required, across the entire Data Science pipeline
·  Collaborate across multiple business functions with a wide variety of people and teams​
·  Translate complex business requirements and scenarios into actionable concepts and system design; conduct technical discovery, identify pain points, and critique existing solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Minimum work experience in:
·  3 years of work experience using relational and nonrelational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Couchbase)
·  Minimum 1 year production-deployed AI/ML solutions
·  3 years in integrating and consuming data over REST APIs
·  1 year in designing scalable complex architectures
·  1 year with scalable cloud design patterns (microservices, message queue, worker offload etc.)
·  1 year with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
·  3 years developing inPython
·  2 years using Python to implement common machine learning technique like linear & nonlinear regression, classification, anomaly detection, natural language, deep learning, time series modelling.
·  2 years manipulating complex datasets and using libraries such as numpy, scipy, pandas, scikit-learn
·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
·  Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing)
