Job Description:

   

SAP BRIM Implementation for HPE’s digital transformation.  This position will focus on implementing XaaS business models using BRIM.  Come be a part of using the latest SAP technology and modernizing HPE’s processes and user experience!

This position requires deep SAP knowledge, XaaS business knowledge, engineering experience, direct engagements with business and IT counterparts.

As Director of Innovation for BRIM, you will lead an SAP team in prototyping and building innovative new solutions to manage HPE’s XaaS Business.  You will be responsible for creating concepts and ideas and turning them into viable projects.  Those projects will follow the SDLC, and you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and managing large, complex full life-cycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources.  You will lead the IT journey of transforming the business into new XaaS business motions.   You will be responsible for designing, architecting, delivering, and leading such initiatives. You will be responsible for attracting and building talent, managing roadmaps, staying current with new technologies and bringing new ideas to life. This role will require strong technical and functional knowledge of XaaS related technology and business models and very importantly the ability to align diverse constituency groups across HPE to achieve visions. Strong leadership and influencing skills are important.  Having an SAP background with large scale implementations is key.

Responsibilities :

·  You will be responsible for implementing digital XaaS solutions using SAP BRIM across a global organization.
·  Understanding and solving business and technology challenges related to the implementation and support of XaaS business models using BRIM technologies.
·  Leveraging industry knowledge and analytical skills, especially as it relates to project management and project facilitation.
·  You will build, motivate and support team to disrupt, improve and evolve business models.
·  This will include ways of working when necessary.
·  This will include the entire SW development lifecycle from user stories, grooming, sprint planning, implementation and ensuring solutions built can be maintained and supported by Operations.
·  This will include generating ideas to further build on, improve or radically create new innovative solutions that may not yet be imagined by stakeholders.

·  Core Architecture Decision-Making:

·  Make critical decisions for the new SAP implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
·  Define and communicate the strategy and progress to stakeholders, project teams, and leadership including C-Suite Executives

·  SAP Strategy:
·  Develop and implement a global SAP strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
·  Drive innovation and continuous improvement in SAP systems and processes.
·  Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define a roadmap, ensure project timelines are met, and minimize disruptions to business operations.
·  SAP System Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance processes to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity across SAP systems.
·  Develop and implement standards and policies for SAP system management.
·  Understanding external Hi-Tech trends and how they can be applied and/or leveraged.
·  Performing capability gap analyses and other-related customer-facing capabilities.
·  Identify gaps in the solution and spot opportunities to create value propositions.
·  Leveraging acumen to understand underlying business problems, while developing and delivering BRIM based solutions that addresses the identified issues.
·  Designing, developing, and evolving platform-based applications.

·  Leadership :

·  Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
·  Team member Engagement: Collaborate closely with key team members, including executives, business leaders, and IT teams, to understand business requirements and align SAP initiatives with business needs.
·  Communicates the value of SAP solutions and gain consensus from team members at all levels.
·  Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with SAP solution providers, system integrators, and consultants.  Evaluate and select external vendors as needed including negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met.
·  Budget and Resource Management: Develop and lead the budget, including forecasting and cost control.
·  Optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency and effectiveness of SAP initiatives.
·  Create an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.
·  Look for opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments.
·  Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
·  Leveraging Business transformation skills with a track record of successful change enablement with quantifiable results
·  Performing as a team leader-supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation.
·  Arrange and sponsor appropriate assignments and experiences to help people realize their potential and support their long-term aspirations.

·  Conducting industry, market, competitive and value chain analysis

·  Communication :

·  Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently to and/or for all levels including C-Suite and Executive Leadership
·  Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials in an easy-to-understand simplified way.

Qualifications :

·  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementation and management.
·  Ability to work in a high-pressure, high stakes environment.
·  Demonstrated success in leading and managing large-scale SAP implementation projects, including project management, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
·  Strong knowledge of SAP BRIM, SAP S4 HANA systems, including implementation, customization, and system architecture
·  Strong understanding of SAP BRIM/S4 solutions and their capabilities, as well as knowledge of SAP best practices and methodologies
·  Demonstrated track record driving business impact.
·  Creative problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset approach
·  Experience managing across highly matrixed organizations, often with competing priorities.
·  Strategic problem solver with ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions.
·  Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation and budget management
·  Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve project goals.
·  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
·  Ability to deliver bad news to stakeholders and business partners with development plans to address any inefficiencies or deficiencies that may have led to the bad news.

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
·  Multiple years of experience in a senior leadership role
·  In-Depth knowledge of SAP S4, SAP modules with preference of SAP BRIM experience
·  Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to encourage and empower a team.
·  Substantial experience managing joint innovation and solution building with SAP alliance partner.

USD Annual Salary: $133,000.00 - $322,000.00
