FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

For our Pont Evêque plant located approximately thirty kilometres from Lyon, we are looking for a financial controller to monitor production and development activities, under a permanent contract.

JOB ROLE :

Reporting to the plant's Head of controlling, you will be responsible for the reliability and suitability of the different management indicators and tools and will adopt a business partner role for managers of the three Autonomous Production Units ( Assembly, Processes, Plastics) and/or development officers.

You will be responsible for daily monitoring of manufacturing and development activities:
· Taking part in month-end closing activities, analysing and reporting the plant's results,
· Running and improving certain business activity processes (monitoring investments, productivity, changes to product ranges and names etc.)
· Revising forecasts,
· Running the budget process, calculating standard cost prices.

You will help improve the efficiency of the plant by supporting operations in monitoring their budgetary results:
· Monitoring results by scope,
· Communicating economic policy to operations,
· Making proactive suggestions for ways to improve performance,
· Setting goals and helping to monitor and meet them.

Profil recherché

Qualifications :

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

With a Bac+5 (Master's level degree) in management (e.g. business school graduate), you have an initial experience of two or three years as a Management Accountant.
You are looking for a role in which your ability to summarise and analyse will be of great importance.
You are meticulous and organised and you enjoy working in an industrial environment.
You have good interpersonal and analytical skills and the capacity to bring about change.
You have a good command of English and IT tools (SAP, Excel).
