Role Summary/Purpose

The purpose of this 12 month internship is to provide graduates with an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in Aviation Leasing Financing. It seeks to provide an enriching experience through challenging assignments that will lead to Industry experience and professional skill development while also making a real contribution to the business.
Essential Responsibilities

Support research and analysis in update of our cargo forecast. The project will require data analysis of historical fleet utilization and retirement, and conversion patterns. The role will conduct research into e-commerce logistics chain to identify types of aircraft required to meet new business models’ demands.

In particular, the aim of the project is to fully understand e-commerce’s impact on the air cargo market & the types of aircraft needed and to understand the process through which a product moves from factory to the end user

Key goals:

·  Identify different e-commerce models adopted: (Amazon, Alibaba, major retailers)

·  Identify steps in inventory management (e.g. from factory to warehouse, from warehouse-to-warehouse – is there a difference for retailers w/ or w/o integrated supply chains)
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Currently studying towards an MSc in Aviation Finance with University College Dublin

·  Highly motivated with ability to work on own initiative

·  Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines

·  Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills

·  Excellent communication skills, written, oral and interpersonal

·  Experience in Aviation leasing and finance would be a strong advantage
