Role Summary/Purpose

You will be hold accountable to ensure that customer’s satisfaction on field performance is achieved through specification, design, calculation (or supplier’s calculation), validation and technical documentation of the components under your responsibility, which will include the rotating systems.

Le/La titulaire du poste sera chargé(e) de veiller à la satisfaction des clients en termes de performances sur le terrain. Pour cela, il/elle sera responsable de la spécification, de la conception, des calculs (ou des calculs des fournisseurs), de la validation et de la documentation technique des composants relevant de sa responsabilité, notamment pour les systèmes rotatifs.

Principales responsabilités

·  Champ de responsabilité : paliers, engrenages, freins

·  Fournir des solutions de conception innovantes afin de répondre aux exigences en matière de fonctionnalités, de délais, de coûts et de fiabilité

·  Créer et tenir à jour une documentation technique des composants et systèmes qui lui sont affectés

·  Appliquer les processus et les normes de GE et du secteur d’activité

·  Apporter une assistance aux autres services (Maintenance, Chaîne d’approvisionnement, Production, Services, EHS, etc.) en intégrant leurs besoins dans la conception et en définissant des mesures d’urgence si nécessaire

·  Effectuer une analyse des causes premières techniques en cas de défaillance et identifier les modifications de conception nécessaires pour éviter que le problème ne se reproduise

·  Participer à la résolution des non-conformités et à la mise en œuvre des modifications de conception (EC)

·  Identifier les améliorations de fiabilité et de performances pour les composants afin de s'assurer que la turbine éolienne excelle en termes de performances commerciales ; définir et exécuter la feuille de route

·  Participer à la veille technologique, en contribuant activement à la protection et au développement de la propriété intellectuelle de GE

·  Assumer la responsabilité de la conception, du développement, des calculs, de la documentation et des tests pour les composants qui lui sont assignés

·  Scope of responsibility: Bearings, gears, brakes

·  Provide innovative design solutions to meet requested functionality, timing, cost and reliability targets

·  Create and maintain technical documentation of the components and systems within scope

·  Apply GE and industry processes and standards

·  Support other departments (Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Services, EHS…) integrating their needs in the design and defining contingency actions when needed

·  Perform technical root cause analysis of eventual failures and identify design changes needed to prevent recurrence

·  Support the resolution of non-conformities and implementing design changes (EC’s)

·  Identify reliability and performance improvements for components to ensure that the wind Turbine excels in commercial performance. Define and execute roadmap

·  Participate in the technological watch, actively promoting both the protection and the development of GE’s intellectual property

·  Specification, design, development, calculation, documentation and testing of the components under his/her responsibility
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent knowledge or experience

·  Significant experience in specification, design, calculation and validation of drive systems related components (bearings, gears, brakes, lubrication)

·  Used to work in global multidisciplinary teams to develop/optimize components/products

·  Used to deal with industrial suppliers (national and international). Familiar with manufacturing processes

·  Fluent in English (written and spoken)

·  Able to travel sporadically (nationally and internationally) to industrial suppliers and/or to wind farms

·  Experience of CAD & CAE computer tools (Unigraphics is preferred), FE calculation tools (Ansys Workbench is preferred), ERP and SAP type applications

·  Experience on computer tool development and programming (i.e: Visual Basic or similar)

·  Background working in multinational companies

·  Excel in communication skills. Proactivity, accountability & global mindset

·  Proven experience working with structured problems solving methodologies: 8D, 6-sigma, etc.

·  EU Work Permit

If contracted in Spain:

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

Qualifications/Exigences

·  Diplôme de génie mécanique ou connaissances/expériences équivalentes

·  Expérience significative dans les domaines de la spécification, de la conception, des calculs et de la validation des composants liés aux systèmes d'entraînement (paliers, engrenages, freins, circuits de graissage)

·  Habitué(e) à travailler dans des équipes multidisciplinaires internationales et à développer/optimiser des composants et des produits

·  Expérience de la collaboration avec des fournisseurs industriels (nationaux et internationaux). Bonne connaissance des procédés de fabrication

·  Anglais courant, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral

·  Mobilité : déplacements nationaux et internationaux occasionnels à prévoir, sur des parcs d’éoliennes et/ou chez des fournisseurs industriels

·  Expérience des outils informatiques de CAD et CAE (Unigraphics de préférence), des outils de calcul des éléments finis (Ansys Workbench de préférence) et des applications ERP et SAP

·  Expérience en développement d'outils informatiques et de programmation (par ex. Visual Basic ou un outil similaire)

·  Expérience professionnelle au sein d’entreprises multinationales

·  Excellentes compétences de communication. Proactivité, responsabilité et ouverture sur l'international

·  Expérience avérée du travail avec des méthodologies de résolution de problèmes structurées : 8D, 6-sigma, etc.

·  Permis de travail européen
