Role Summary/Purpose

The Electrical Intern is responsible for supporting a team that covers all aspects of the Electrical Maintenance on the plant to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations in Concon, Valparaiso. (Planta ENAP)
Essential Responsibilities

·  Provide support to the maintenance team (Electric) in the day to day maintenance activities.
·  Develop, support and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities.
·  Plan and inspect completed work on plant equipment.
·  Assign general, preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians.
·  Execute work order through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and co-ordinate within the team for job completion and technical matters.
·  Maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work.
·  Acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant Instrumentation and Control systems throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and lead the maintenance team in resolving the issue.
·  Promote development and succession management in the team.
·  Train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.
·  Assist the Operation and Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
·  Assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions.
·  Co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for inventory management.
·  Control plant inventory via the CMMS system.
·  Acquire full knowledge of EHS policies; procedures and ensures compliance.
·  Evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping.
·  Assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor on all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits.
·  Ensure compliance in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures as applicable to the maintenance activities.
·  Develop training schedules/plans for the members in the team.
·  Control all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents.
·  Communicate effectively with managers, peers and team fellows, both verbally and in writing.
·  Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Electrical Engineer student from university or institute.
·  Accident Insurance Letter for Students.

·  Fluent in the local language and in English (both verbal and written).
·  HV and MV Electric Equipment in a Plant Process.

·  Excellent interpersonal skills.
·  Proficiency with computer tools.
