Role Summary/Purpose

Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of purchasing and sourcing concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of purchasing concepts in order to help drive supplier performance.
Essential Responsibilities

- Support to drive growth in business cooperation, prevent or resolve quality issues that could impact business growth in the region.
- Primary Technical/quality Interface with Suppliers and work closely with various divisions of GE Renewable Energy on the following:
·Conduct technical assessment and SRG surveys on suppliers, and sub-tiers as necessary, for supplier approvals
·Conduct First Piece Qualifications (FPQ) and Pilot Lots Qualification (PLQ) for NPI Programs, Cost-Out projects, and quality programs.
·Conduct Product/Process Surveillance Audits with suppliers according to quality plan
·Manage Corrective Action Resolution, lead and verify the Corrective action/preventive action implementation for non-conforming products and audit findings.
·Be Communication Interface with Business SQE/Design/quality/material process engineer etc.
·Regular supplier performance review, such as SDR/NCR/service cases review and Critical-To-Quality Review etc.
·Drive continuous improvement of supplier’s quality, cycle and fulfillment
·Support supplier quality initiatives, i.e. post-FPQ, quality system, lean six sigma, process control improvements, part to print activities etc.
·Monitor supplier quality metrics and report regularly to supplier quality manager & global team
·Conduct Technical Regulation System survey and supplier environment health and safety audit as required
Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor/ Master degree of electrical and electronics engineering, or either. Hands-on experience in manufacturing (shop floor), Quality, or Supplier quality management is required. Factory quality experience is preferred
- At least 8 years’ experience in manufacturing and factory quality process, quality control, etc.
- Expertise in electrical transformer, motor or generator manufacturing is strongly preferred
- Expertise in electronics or electrical cabinet (PCBA, PCB, electronics component, control cabinet etc.) is strongly preferred
- Excellent English communication skills in both oral and written are required
- Strong leadership and communication skill, experience in leadership role is preferred
- Lean and Six sigma certified is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Open minded and willing to learn in job, diligent to work
