ENGIE are recruiting for a Fabric Engineer (Joiner) to be based at Tameside Hospital, OL6 9RW. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. You will work on a shift pattern of 07:00 - 15:00 and 10:00 - 18:00. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and excellent benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include: 

· 
Ensure workload is planned, delivered to customer specification and agreed service requirement.

· 
Plan, prioritise and resource projects.

· 
Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations, and helping us to achieve our H&S targets.

· 
Diagnose, fault-find, commission systems and monitor facility performance, through PPM programme, identifying any additional works required.

· 
Ability to work under pressure, take ownership of problems and deal with them to their conclusion

· 
Install, commission and maintain all plant, equipment and assets maintained by Engie.

· 
Working closely with the Fire Strategy to ensure the building elements (Doors/Walls/partitions and penetrations) remain compliant in line with good industry practise.

· 
Assist with the close out of site inspections for Decoration and building and fabric elements.

· 
Assist with Lifecycle and major project schemes for pricing and refurbishment 

· 
Purchase/source replacement materials to ensure stock levels remain sufficient.

· 
Support other Multi Skilled Technicians to enable all PPM’s/Reactive works to be completed

· 
Flexible working hours required.

· 
Administer and complete relevant paperwork.

· 
Understand and meet ongoing customer requirements, develop effective working relationships with business partners, suppliers and sub contractors.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Joinery or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry would be an advantage.
·  Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
·  Sound knowledge of Health & Safety.
·  Ability to measure, works to plans (method statements), read technical diagrams.

Desirable Experience:

·  Experience of working within a PFI Healthcare environment 
·  Experience with PPM & Reactive Works
·  Working closely with a Fire Strategy to ensure the building elements (Doors/Walls/partitions and penetrations) remain compliant in line with good industry practice.
